Why Fusion

Fusion power is the future of energy creation. It can produce massive amounts of energy with only little waste. By achieving fusion, Humanity would be able to once and for all be free of fossil fuels, whose retirement is already overdue.

Even though nuclear fission reactors are highly efficient at creating energy by splitting Uranium pellets, there is still a risk for catastrophic accidents to occur. As for renewable energy, like wind or solar, it is simply not reliable enough. When a cloudy day comes or when the wind doesn't blow hard enough the supply of power is completely cut off.
